Non-SDS Canada

Another way to study in Canada is through the Non-SDS, often known as the General Category. Students who are unable to satisfy the SDS standards can apply for Non-SDS Canada.

Passport

A student’s study permit, temporary residence visa (TRV), or any other Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) document will not be issued after your passport expires.

Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC)

When the student arrives in Canada, he will receive CAD 2,000, plus any interest, deposited into his student bank account. In addition, he will receive CAD 667 per month for the next 12 months.

Tuition Fee

they can initially deposit six months’ tuition costs for the DLI under the Non-SDS visa criteria. Students can provide evidence to show that they are financially stable.

Statement of Purpose

In most cases, visa officials are unable to contact every student for an interview. As a result, assessing the student profile is quite beneficial to them.

Educational Documents

Your prior educational credentials are among the documents, such as your 10th, 12th, and diploma or graduation transcripts.

Financial Documents

Students in Non-SDS must produce financial documentation that demonstrates their financial stability, such as Proof of Income (Income Tax Returns, Form-16, J-Forms).

Conclusion

Canada study visa is never based solely on IELTS. The High Commission evaluates the student’s whole background before making a decision.
